What kinds of projects do you take on?

Anything that runs on the internet. Websites, web apps, CRMs, AI platforms, e-commerce, healthcare systems, internal tools, automation workflows, if you can imagine it, we can build it. No project too big. No idea too small. We have never turned down work because it did not fit a category.

Do you only build websites, or do you also do apps and systems?

We build both. A website that does not convert is not a website, it is window dressing. A website we build is architected for SEO, user behavior, and measurable outcomes. But we also build web apps, SaaS MVPs, internal systems, clinic management software, ERPs, and automation workflows. The skill set is the same: systems thinking, user-first design, and outcomes-driven architecture.

Can you improve or rebuild an existing system?

Yes. Sometimes that means adding features or fixing performance issues in the existing codebase. Sometimes it means rebuilding it from scratch because the foundation was designed wrong. We will tell you which one makes sense after we understand what you have and what needs to change.

What industries do you work in?

What if I don't know exactly what I need?

That is literally our favorite kind of conversation. Half our projects started with "I have this idea but I am not sure how to build it." We will help you figure it out.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

You will get a response within one business day, from a founder, not an auto-reply. We will tell you if we think your project is something we can serve well. If it is, the next step is usually a 30-minute call to dive deeper on the problem and make sure we understand what success looks like. We do not have a long sales cycle. If we decide to work together, we move to scoping and contracting.

Do you do strategy and implementation, or just implementation?

Both. John leads the strategy side, understanding your business problem, confirming the scope, and making sure the build actually solves what you need. Cash leads the architecture and build. Lauren manages the timeline and communication. You are not paying for handoffs. The people you talk to are the people building your system.

How long does a project take?

It depends on scope. An MVP or core platform feature set usually ships in 6-12 weeks. A website with SEO architecture and content usually takes 8-14 weeks. We do not have a fixed timeline because padding it with fake work helps no one. We scope it honestly and give you a realistic target. After that, scope creep is priced separately, which keeps everyone focused on the original goal.

What does a typical engagement structure look like?

Usually a fixed-scope contract with milestone payments: 50% upfront to start, 25% at a midpoint review, and 25% on launch. For ongoing work (retainers, maintenance, feature rollout), we talk monthly or quarterly engagement. We are not an agency that bills by the hour and extends timelines. We are incentivized to ship clean, working code on schedule.

How much do projects cost?

It ranges. A website with SEO and conversion architecture: $25k-$75k depending on complexity. A custom app or CRM: $50k-$250k+ depending on features and integration. An EMR or clinical system: $150k-$500k+ because healthcare is regulated and data integrity matters. An automation workflow: $10k-$50k. The scope and your industry determine the price, not our "package." We quote based on what needs to be built.

Do you work with tight budgets?

Yes, but honestly. If your budget is $10k and you need a full custom system, that is not a fit. If your budget is $10k and you need a solid website with SEO, that is doable. We will tell you what a realistic budget should be for your specific goal. We will not pretend we can ship a $50k project for $10k.

What about ongoing costs after launch?

You own the code and the infrastructure. If you build a website, you pay hosting ($15-$50/month). If you build a web app, you pay cloud infrastructure ($50-$500/month depending on scale and usage). We can manage that for you or you can manage it yourself. Some clients want us on retainer for maintenance and bug fixes ($2k-$5k/month). Some maintain it in-house. It is your choice.

Why don't you publish pricing upfront?

Because pricing built from an honest scope conversation is fairer than a templated package. A healthcare system requires different work than a service business website. A regulated industry requires more care than an MVP. If we published a menu, you would either underpay for something complex or overpay for something simple. The inquiry form gets us enough context to quote correctly.

How do you think about measuring results?

We build measurement in from day one. For a website, that means analytics, conversion tracking, and organic search data. For an internal system, that means adoption metrics and time savings. For an automation workflow, that means output tracking and human time recovered. We do not just ship something and hope it works, we set up the infrastructure to know whether it is working.

What kind of results can I expect?

That depends on what you are building. A website with proper SEO architecture typically starts earning organic traffic within 60-120 days and compounds from there. An automation system typically saves measurable time in the first month. A CRM that replaces a manual process usually shows adoption and data quality improvement in week one. We cannot guarantee X percent growth because growth depends on your market and your execution, not just software. But we can guarantee the system will be built to let you measure it.

Will you build something that doesn't actually solve my problem?

We will not ship it if we do not think it solves the problem. If halfway through the build we realize the scope was wrong, we tell you. If we launch and the data shows it is not hitting the mark, we help fix it. We care whether it works, not whether we shipped on schedule and moved on to the next project.

Do you offer post-launch support?

Yes. We stand behind our work. The first 30 days post-launch, we monitor performance and fix any bugs we introduced. After that, support is either part of a retainer (if you want us managing it) or it is available on-demand (you call, we fix it, you pay for the hours). For serious operators, a retainer usually makes sense because we catch issues before they become problems.

What if I am worried we are not a good fit?

That is what the inquiry and discovery call are for. We will tell you directly if the scope, budget, or timeline does not work. We are also transparent about execution risk, if success metrics are not defined or your team cannot commit time to the project, we will tell you that upfront. The worst outcome is we both waste time on an engagement that will not succeed.

Do you work with clients outside of Utah?

Yes, fully. Our team is distributed and we have built for clients across the US. Geography does not affect quality or communication. We run projects via async tools and scheduled calls. Most of our best client relationships have been remote from day one. Utah is where we are based, not where we are limited.

What happens after the project is launched?

The first 30 days post-launch are covered, we monitor performance and fix any bugs we introduced at no extra charge. After that, you can choose a retainer for ongoing management and feature work, or come back on-demand when you need something. You own the code and infrastructure either way. We set everything up so you are not dependent on us, but most clients stick around because it works.

Do you offer ongoing support or retainers?

Yes. Our Partner Retainer model gives you a set number of hours per month for maintenance, feature rollout, monitoring, and iteration. Can you work with our existing tools and software?

Yes. We integrate with most standard business tools, CRMs, accounting platforms, email providers, payment processors, scheduling software, and more. Integration work is scoped separately since it adds complexity, but we handle it. If you have a specific stack you are locked into, tell us in the inquiry form and we will confirm fit before scoping.

Yes, without hesitation. If you need an NDA before sharing sensitive details, send it over. We sign standard mutual NDAs and review client-provided agreements. Confidentiality is baseline expectation here, we do not share client details, business logic, or system architecture with anyone outside the engagement. Ever.

What if I do not know exactly what I need yet?

That is fine, that is what the inquiry process and discovery call are for. You describe what is broken or what outcome you are trying to reach, and we help you scope what actually needs to be built. We have helped many clients realize the problem they thought they had was not the actual problem. Starting with I am not sure is better than starting with the wrong solution.

What technology do you use?

React for user interfaces. Node.js, Deno, and cloud infrastructure for backend. We choose the right tool for the problem, not the tool we are most comfortable with. For healthcare systems, we use HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. For real-time data, we use WebSockets or event streaming. The implementation details matter less than the architecture decisions.

Will I be locked into your stack?

No. You own the code. We follow industry-standard practices so you can hand it off to another dev team if needed (though most do not, they stay because we set it up to be maintainable). We document everything and we do not obfuscate. If you ever need to move, you can.

Do you integrate with other software?

Yes. We integrate with CRMs, accounting software, email systems, payment processors, data warehouses, and whatever else your business uses. Integration work is usually scoped separately from the core build because it adds complexity. But yeah, we handle it.

Do you handle compliance (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)?

Yes. We have built HIPAA-compliant systems, handled PCI requirements for payment processing, and worked within compliance frameworks for regulated industries. That does not mean we are a compliance consultancy, we work with your legal/compliance team to implement requirements, but you own the responsibility.
