The Challenge

Generic Shopify-style storefronts could not handle lot-level COA attachment, RUO compliance gating, or the two-level affiliate override and payout structure the brand's growth model depended on. Every off-the-shelf option forced workarounds that would have broken compliance and partner trust.
Constraints
The platform had to enforce Research Use Only disclaimers structurally, not as a footnote. COAs had to be downloadable per lot, tied to inventory. The affiliate system needed two-level override commissions with payout reconciliation and fraud checks. And the storefront had to rank for compound-specific research keywords, not just generic supplement terms.
