Internal Operations Dashboard for a Research and Compliance Team
A research-adjacent team was managing compliance checklists, team task assignments, and document tracking across email threads and shared drives. Nothing was current. Nothing was auditable.

The Challenge
Healthcare · Research Operations
Compliance documentation was spread across Google Drive folders, email threads, and a mix of PDF checklists that got printed, signed, and scanned back in. No one had a reliable way to know what was current versus outdated. When a compliance review happened, pulling documentation was a half-day project. Task ownership was informal, items fell through the cracks regularly.
Constraints
The team didn't need a full enterprise platform. They needed something they'd actually use, clean, fast, and opinionated enough that the process was embedded in the tool rather than depending on people to remember it.
The Solution
What we built
An internal operations dashboard with checklist management, task ownership tracking, document versioning, and a compliance-ready audit log. Tasks are assigned to specific team members with deadlines and status tracking. Documents have version history. Completed checklists are timestamped and stored in a retrievable format.

What Changed After Launch
Why It Mattered
"Compliance isn't optional in regulated environments. The team was relying on institutional memory and individual vigilance to stay current. Now the system holds the process, not the people."
